William "Billy" Walter Moore, son of the late Robert Moore, Sr. and Lenora Moore, passed away on September 3, 2021 at Fairmont Rehabilitation Center.

He is survived by his brothers, Robert W. Moore, Jr. (Ann), James R. Moore (Connie), and Harold "Ed" Moore (Kay). He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Ted Opron.

Billy is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Robbie, Francie, Doug, David, Lori, Charlie, Becky, Michael, Denise, Jamie, J.W., Tricia, Shawna, Ben, and Missy. He is also survived by 25 great nieces and nephews as well as several great-great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his sister, Karen Opron.

Family was the love of Billy's life. Billy devoted much of his time to the Fairview Public Library. He was a member of the Fairview 4 ^th of July Committee. He was honored with the Mary Sturm Award. Billy was very interested in politics and showed a great knowledge of political science.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to one or all of the following: Fairview Public Library Children's Section, Children's Diabetic Association, and the Autism Association of Marion County.

The family would like to thank all the staff at the Fairmont Rehabilitation Center for the care given to Billy, and also Dr. Ang.

The family will receive friends at Bassnettsville Cemetery on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with Tommy Myers conducting services. Interment will follow. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.domicofh.com.
